Life changes can be challenging, but we’ll try to make it as easy as possible for you to manage your benefits. First, tell us what kind of change you’re experiencing. Any of these will allow you to make changes to your benefits mid-year.
Don’t miss the deadline! These changes require you to take action on BenefitSolver within 31 days of your life event.
Change in dependent status
Divorce, loss of a dependent, or a covered child turns 26. Any of these events will require you to remove that person from your plan. It’s as easy as when you added them in the first place.
When you’re ready, sign in to BenefitSolver and click on the “Change My Benefits” button to remove the dependent from your plan. There may be requirements, like proof of the event, depending on your situation. You have 31 days to complete your changes from the time of your life event.

New marriage, partnership, or child
If you’re adding a new member to your family, whether that be a spouse or baby, we’ve got them covered.
For employees working 20 or more hours per week, we will cover spouses, domestic partners, and children as dependents on your plan. We’ll also allow you to leave your ServiceNow plan if you’d like to be covered by your spouse/partner’s employer plan instead.

Leaving ServiceNow
We’re sorry to see you go, but wish you all the best in the next chapter of your journey. While your employee benefits will automatically terminate the end of the month in which you leave, you’ll need to pay attention to a few things.

COBRA Coverage
If you’re leaving ServiceNow without another job lined up or you have a gap in coverage at your next job, we can help you with COBRA coverage. COBRA gives you the same medical coverage you were eligible for as an employee, with one caveat: you will be responsible for the full cost of this coverage. Remember, we pay a portion of this coverage for employees; once you’re longer an employee, you’ll have to pay the full cost.
After you part ways with ServiceNow, you will receive a COBRA enrollment packet from our COBRA administrator, BenefitSolver, at your home address on record. Instructions on how to enroll and pay for coverage will be outlined in this packet – please follow the instructions carefully.
If COBRA just doesn’t do it for you, don’t fret. You may have other options on the Health Exchanges.
Managing your documents/benefits
Sometimes you’ll need to pull up documents from your coverage while at ServiceNow. For example, if you lose the W-2 we mail you and need to print another copy.
These platforms will remain active after you leave ServiceNow, so you can reference documents. You’ll still need to use your current log-in so make sure to keep that information safe.
For COBRA benefits – BenefitSolver
Please do not use your ServiceNow email address:
- First time users please click on the REGISTER button on the righthand side of the login page
- Company Key: “ServiceNow” (case sensitive)
- Enter your Social Security Number and your Date of Birth to complete registration
For payroll and employment history – ADP Vantage
If you’ve never registered for ADP Advantage, please follow these instructions:
- Click on the “REGISTER HERE” button
- Enter the Registration code: NOW-1234
- Enter your Contact Information
- Create your User ID and Password
- Click “Register now”
- Select “Self Service” to access
